Port Royal, a Robert Trent Jones Sr. design, came out of an extensive refurbishment in 2008 needing to prove itself as a championship venue.
Andrew Brooks led the reopening and ran the operation, then delivered host-venue operations for the PGA Grand Slam of Golf in close collaboration with the PGA of America.
Four consecutive Grand Slam events, contested by the winners of that year’s four majors, and Port Royal established as a world-class destination course.
